The Bomin Group (Bomin) will expand to Germany's West Coast, opening a new sales office in Bremen, Germany on January 1, 2013, the company announced today.

The Bomin Weser GmbH & Co. KG office will focus on all bunker locations in the Weser/Ems area, supplying high and low sulfur fuel and gasoil.

The new office will be lead by Managing Director Sabine Ley and will be supplied from Bomin's Bremerhaven tank farm with the new 1,600 dead weight tonne (dwt) double hull barge Casablanca.

The company said the new office "represents a further logical step" in its expansion of bunker delivery services across the globe.

Bomin was created earlier this year through Mabanaft GmbH& Co. KG's acquisition of Bominflot Group, creating what the firms called "one of the world's largest bunker companies."

Bomin is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany and has locations world-wide.
