Friday February 28, 2014
Russian bunker supplier Nayada LLC has expanded its fleet with the addition of the 4,400-dwt tanker Zaliv Vostok, IAA PortNews reports.
The tanker is expected to commence operations this month at ports within the Primorsk Territory.
According to the report, Zaliv Vostok has a pumping capacity of 1,000 cbm/h, and is fitted with a jet-type maneuvering device for docking in bad weather conditions without the assistance of tugboats.
"It is the most state-of-the-art bunkering tanker being unrivalled among other tankers in Russia and approved by oil majors," the company said.
Nayada has 7 tankers and also supplies bunker fuel at the Russian Far East ports of Nakhodka, Vostochny, Vladivostok, Pociet, Zarubino, Slavyanka, and Bolshoi Kamen.
