Some of the world's major bunkering hubs recorded little change in the price of key grade IFO380 during March 2013, Ship & Bunker data has shown, but low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) started April priced lower in Singapore, Rotterdam, and Houston.

Singapore IFO380 started April at $635.00 per metric tonne (pmt), $4.50 higher than it was one month ago, but a linear regression of the prices showed a very slight downward trend for March. The grade managed a spread of $12.50 in that time. LS380 fell $33.00 during the month to start April at $696.00 pmt.

Rotterdam IFO380 started out April at exactly the same price it was on March 1, at $609.50 pmt, which was also the high for last month. A spread of $9.50 put the low for March at $600.00 pmt on March 22. LS380 made a change of $-11.50 for the month, gaining $11.00 last week from the month's low of $645.50 on March 25.

Fujairah IFO380 also made gains last week to rise from the month's low of $627.50 on March 22 to start April $5.00 higher month-on-month at $643.00 pmt.

Houston IFO380 had a run of four consecutive days of rising prices to start April at $622.00 pmt, $4.50 higher than it started the previous month, and with a spread of $10.50 in that time. LS380 fell $16.50 in March to start April at $692.00 pmt.
