Aframax Arrested in Singapore
Monday March 14, 2016
An Aframax tanker Friday was arrested in Singapore, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.
The 1992-builtĀ Bodrum was arrested on March 11, 2016 at 6:20am local time, following instruction from local law firm Oon & Bazul LLP.
Data from VesselsValue.com indicates the 95,600 dwt Ukraine flagged vessel is controlled by Leader Ship Management, and is currently worth just over $4 million.
The circumstances leading to the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is typical in instances of payment dispute.
Last week Ship & Bunker reported that Oon & Bazul LLP were also involved with the arrest of Chang Hang Jin Hai.
