Mix Movements for Crude as Speculators Anticipate Record Stockpiles

Speculators are anticipating record stockpiles of crude and refined products when inventory figures are released tomorrow and WTI felt the brunt of this throughout the trading day.

However, the closing of two lines within the Colonial Pipeline was the saving grace to prices by settlement time as losses were pared.

In addition to the inventory figures the market it keeping a close eye on Chinese manufacturing activity as a key driver to oil demand.

Bunker prices were soft to stable in the primary ports.
