CEO of Dry Bulk Shipper Globus Maritime Steps Down

Dry bulk shipper Globus Maritime Monday announced Georgios Karageorgiou, the company's President and CEO, is stepping down.

Karageorgiou will also vacate the positions of interim Chief Financial Officer and Director of Globus, the company said.

The resignation was said to be due to personal reasons, and is effective December 28.

Globus said the positions of President, CEO, and CFO will be taken over immediately by Athanasios Feidakis.

Feidakis is the son of Globus Chairman, Georgios Feidakis.
