Fathom Launches Free Guide to the Hull Coatings Market
Maritime efficiency information specialists Fathom this week launched the second edition of their free guide to the marine hull coatings market, Fathom FOCUS Hull Coatings for Vessel Performance, the company announced Thursday in an emailed press release.
"Whilst our flagship publication, Ship Efficiency: The Guide, is a comprehensive roadmap to the ship efficiency labyrinth, the FOCUS publication series offers in-depth, practical guidance that focuses on a single market area such as this one to act as a guide to navigating the hull coatings market," commented Fathom Shipping Director Catherine McMillan.
"This publication series ensures that owners, operators and managers can easily access important information, for free, in an easy-to-digest format wherever they may be."
Fathom says the publication offers an independent analysis of the anti-fouling hull coating solutions available on the market in addition to in-depth editorial content that spans the history of the market, the regulatory landscape and the science behind the anti-fouling coating concepts.
The publication also includes chapters that delve into hull performance monitoring and hull cleaning.
The publication is available for free download from the Fathom Shipping website.
Last year consulting company Frost & Sullivan predicted that by 2018, revenues for the marine coatings industry will double from their 2011 level to $10.2 billion.
