Voyage optimisation firm StormGeo has partnered with data-driven platform Tideform to integrate real-time bunker pricing data into its bunker management platform.

The deal embeds Tideform’s real-time pricing data into StormGeo’s platform, replacing fragmented or delayed information, StormGeo said in an email statement on Monday.

“We are continuously looking for ways to strengthen the value we deliver to our customers,” Julie Nielsen, Global Head of Bunker Sales at StormGeo, said.

“By partnering with Tideform, we enhance our bunker management solution with transparent and reliable pricing data, helping our clients make better-informed planning and procurement decisions while reducing uncertainty.”

StormGeo’s Bunker Management platform is used by shipping companies to optimise bunker fuel procurement and operational efficiency.

With the addition of Tideform’s data, users will be able to align purchasing decisions more closely with real-time market conditions and forward pricing signals, reducing reliance on fragmented or delayed information.

“Procurement decisions in bunkering are only as strong as the data behind them,” Kenneth Juhls, CEO of Tideform, said.

“By embedding our pricing intelligence directly into StormGeo’s platform, we are meeting customers where they already operate and helping them make faster and better-informed decisions in real time.”

The integration is available immediately to StormGeo customers, with further enhancements expected in due course.

Last year, StormGeo launched a new digital bunker management platform to optimise bunker planning and procurement.
