BUNKER JOBS: Open Roles Available in Singapore, Greece and Dubai

Vernon Jayanathan, director of Maritime Recruitment Company Ltd, shared the following information with Ship & Bunker about open roles for which he is seeking candidates.

With the summer months upon us, I know many are looking forward to taking time out.

As a family we will be off to Portugal this year. The boys, now aged 19 and 17, will be honing their surfing skills. I will be honing my ability to give much-needed and -wanted (I am sure!) advice from my deck chair.

A lot of people I know use this time to pause and reflect upon where they are with their working life and where they want to be.

If all is well, that is fantastic. If, however, there is a vast chasm between the two, I may have just the tonic.

I am currently looking for:

  • A Singapore-based Senior Trader with about 7-10 years of solid successful trading experience who wants to take the next leap in their career. The role will be to help a well-respected international trading and supply firm with many feathers to its bow, expand their footprint in the region. The successful candidate will of course be well-compensated and be provided with all the help that they need to flourish.
  • A Lube Trader with about 5 years of experience that can start of a new Lube trading venture for client of mine in Greece. The company is already established and respected in the region.
  • An experienced Bunker Trader for a well established trading and supply firm in Dubai. The preferred candidate for this position should have about 7 years of successful trading experience and will be looking to take a significant jump in their careers, both in terms of recognition and reward.
