GAC Bunker Fuels today announced in an emailed press release that Murray Bishop has been appointed as GAC Bunker Fuels' Business Development Manager for Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

London-based Bishop has joined the company's management team in what was described as a central role in supporting the company's ongoing growth and expansion strategy.

"Our business has now grown to a size that demands a regional management team," said Global Director Nicholas Browne.

"Murray is well known in our business and is already considered a trusted advisor to the superyacht sector.

His operational knowledge of the bunkering sector, in-depth understanding of our customers' needs and global experience with the GAC Group will enable him to make an immediate and tangible contribution to our business, not only in the superyacht sector, but also to existing GAC Bunker Fuels' customers throughout the regions for which he is responsible."

Murray will work alongside Ashan Silva who joined GAC Bunker Fuels in Dubai last month, responsible for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and the Indian Subcontinent.

"You can expect to hear further news of our expanding operations in the coming months," added Browne.
