Modest Gains for Crude as Month End Contracts Expire

Crude benchmarks rose modestly during today's trading as month end contracts expired.

However the market remains oversupplied and the market remains skeptical that prices will continue to rise in the near term.

Mixed inventory figures and  expectations that are wavering on an OPEC oil freeze are making investors are cause for volatility to be expected.

Bunker prices were somewhat firm in the primary ports.
