Matrix Marine Fuels L.P. (Matrix Marine) says effective March 27, 2013 it has added expanded capability for ex-pipeline delivery of low sulfur bunkers at Oiltanking Terminal in Houston, Texas.

"This means that both low sulfur and high sulfur fuel oil grades meeting ISO8217:2010(E) RMG-380 are now available ex-pipeline to vessels working cargo at all docks," the company said in a statement.

Matrix Marine merged with the Bomin International Group of companies (Bomin) last year when its parent company, Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG (Mabanaft), bought Bomin.

Matrix says it specialises in ex-pipe supplies, while the Bomin subsidiary Bominflot Bunker Oil Corp. focuses on barge deliveries.

The merger of the two companies created what Mabanaft called "one of the world's largest bunker companies."

Since the acquisition, Bomin has announced expansions in the Mediterranean and Germany.
