Hawks Group Hires Two Bunker Traders in Singapore
- Wardah Mudah and Daniel Ong join the Singapore trading team
- Both come from shipbroking
- Singapore office handles back-to-back trading, cargo sourcing, and tanker support
Marine fuel supplier and trader Hawks Group has hired two bunker traders for its Singapore office.
Wardah Mudah and Daniel Ong have joined the Singapore team, the company said in an emailed press release on Monday, timed to land ahead of this week's SIBCON conference in the city.
Mudah studied maritime and offshore management and shipbroking before working with CMA Group, according to the release.
Ong was a dry bulk shipbroker before the move to Hawks.
"We are happy to add new talent to our Singapore office," said Hussain Aman, the group's general manager and director of sales.
"Singapore is a pivotal office for our back-to-back bunker trading, cargo sourcing for our physical business and technical support for our fleet of internationally active product tankers, so our intention is to grow the team further."
Hawks is a physical supplier in the Maldives and Sri Lanka and at high seas in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea.
In September 2025 the group opened a trading office in Istanbul staffed by two traders, adding to its trading desks in Dubai, Singapore, and Malaysia.
