Singapore Bunker Prices Dip

Asia's bunker prices saw another day of little change on Thursday, with prices flat in many ports throughout the region. But Singapore, Busan, and Tokyo all saw IFO380 move down between $1.00 and $2.00 pmt, while Hong Kong saw the grade edge up for a second consecutive day.

Singapore IFO380 fell $2.00 to $661.50 per metric tonne (pmt), $8.50 higher than this time last week, and up $31.00 month-on-month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was steady at $754.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $93.00 pmt. MGO was up $1.50 to $999.00 pmt, an increase of $16.50 week-on-week.

Busan IFO380 fell for the first time since February 6, 2013 down $1.00 to $685.00 pmt, up $5.00 since last Thursday, and a gain of $19.50 month-on-month. LS380 fell $2.50 to $823.50 making the premium for the ECA compliant fuel $138.50 pmt. MGO moved up $1.00 to $1026.50 pmt, $8.50 higher than this time last week.

Hong Kong IFO380 rose $1.50 to $672.50 pmt, up $6.50 week-on-week, and an increase of $23.50 since January 14, 2013. MGO was up $3.00 to $1018.00 pmt, up $15.00 since this time last week.

Tokyo IFO380 moved down for the first time since January 29, 2013 falling $1.00 to $707.00 pmt, $6.00 higher than last Thursday, and up $23.00 month-on-month. MDO climbed $11.00 to $1025.00 pmt, an increase of $18.00 week-on-week.
