Bunker Holding Names COO
Bunker Holding A/S (Bunker Holding), parent company of 23 bunker-industry companies worldwide has appointed Søren Høll as chief operations officer, the company said in an emailed press release.
Høll previously served as head of operations for Europe and Asia at Bunker Holding subsidiary Dan-Bunkering, where he worked for 28 years.
In his new position, which began July 1, Høll works from the company's headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark and will travel to subsidiary locations worldwide.
"We are very pleased to have Søren as part of our management team at Bunker Holding," said group CEO Keld R. Demant.
"His many years with Dan-Bunkering have given him a thorough knowledge and experience within all aspects of the bunker business, which we as well as our other subsidiaries can now benefit from.
"At the same time, our Group's culture and values are part of Søren's way of working, which is also a major plus in his future work of further developing and growing the subsidiaries' business activities in close cooperation with the subsidiaries themselves."
Demant recently said that Bunker Holding plans to grow 50 percent in five years, benefitting from consolidation in the bunkering industry.
