Supplier Expands Bunkering Service in Romania
Island Petroleum Limited (Island Petroleum) has expanded its marine fuel offering in Romania, the bunker supplier has told Ship & Bunker.
"Island Petroleum Limited is now in position to offer bunkering GASOIL (DMA) with Sulphur 0.1% by truck in the ports of Constanta, Constanta South - Agigea and Mangalia," the supplier said.
Island Petroleum says it is now also able to provide bunkering services to the ports of Midia and Mangalia with its 3,000 dwt doubled-hulled tanker M/T Island Challenger.
The vessel is able to supply all grades of fuel and is fully equipped with boiler, heating coils, blender, flow meters, bow-thruster, and fenders, according to Island Oil.
From January 1, 2015, in the absence of an approved equivalent method of compliance the maximum sulfur content of marine fuel used by vessels operating within an Emission Control Area (ECA) will be limited to 0.10 percent by weight.
