Former OW Bunker, Maersk Man Joins Prima Marine
Dubai-based Prima Marine has announced in an emailed press release that Morten Kure Hansen, formerly Regional Managing Director of OW Bunker IMEA and General Manager in Maersk Oil Trading, has joined the bunker company's trading arm in Dubai.
His initial responsibilities will be leading the bunker trading arm for Prima Marine in Dubai that initially will focus on Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
"We are very delighted to partner up with Morten Kure Hansen as he brings with him a wealth of experience from the shipping and bunker industry," commented Prima Marine CEO Shaikh Muhammad Faisal.
"He has some new ideas about trading in the bunker market and how it can complement our physical operation."
Morten Kure Hansen said: "I am happy to be joining Prima Marine as the company is now dynamically entering into back to back bunker trading. It has a long history within the bunker industry and I am eager to get back into business and work with suppliers and customers again."
Prima Marine is a marine specialist with physical bunker supply operations in Pakistan and UAE, as well as Bunker trading offices located in UK and UAE.
In June Ship & Bunker reported that Prima Marine had physical bunker supply at UAE ports initially supplying MGO through tank trucks.
