Fuel Additive Firm Sulnox Signs Four-Year Fuel Supply Deal With Spring Marine
Fuel additive firm Sulnox has signed a four-year supply deal with Greek shipmanager Spring Marine Management covering around 600,000 litres of Sulnox Eco fuel conditioner for use across at least 34 ships.
Spring Marine has used the product since 2023 and reported average bunker fuel savings of around 5%, alongside improved engine efficiency and cleaner combustion components, Sulnox said in an emailed update today.
Spring Marine will also invest up to £1.1 million in Sulnox by subscribing for up to 2.75 million new shares.
“We have now been using Sulnox Eco for three years and have seen consistent and measurable benefits across our operations,” Captain George Chondronikolas, General Manager of Spring Marine, said.
“The fuel savings are important, but we have also seen meaningful improvements in engine cleanliness, efficiency and emissions performance.”
Sulnox said the deal provides long-term demand and strengthens its presence in the Greek shipping market.
