Rotterdam IFO380 Rises Back Above $600
Ship & Bunker price data showed IFO in the EMEA region continued on an upward trend, with IFO380 in Rotterdam, Istanbul, and Piraeus reaching its highest since October 30, 2012.
Rotterdam IFO380 was up $8.50 to $603.00 per metric tonne (pmt), up $14.00 week-on-week, and rising above $600 for the first time since October 30, 2012. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $3.50 to $631.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $28.50 pmt. MGO fell for a third consecutive day dropping $6.00 to $928.50 pmt, down $6.00 week-on-week.
Fujairah IFO380 moved up $8.00 to $617.50 pmt, rising $11.00 from last Friday, and the highest price since November 20, 2012. MGO slipped $2.50 to $1004.50 pmt, falling $1.00 week-on-week, and $16.50 lower than this time last month.
Istanbul IFO380 climbed $8.50 to $639.50 pmt, a $17.00 increase week-on-week, and making a $14.50 gain month-on-month. MGO dropped $8.50 to $991.50 pmt, slipping $2.00 from last Friday, and $10.50 lower than December 4, 2012.
Piraeus IFO380 was up $9.00 to $623.50 pmt, up $20.00 from last Friday, and $13.00 higher than December 4, 2012. LS380 rose $10.00 to $677.50 making the premium for the low sulfur product $54.00 pmt. MGO slipped $2.00 to $966.50 pmt, gaining $1.50 week-on-week.
