Industry Veteran Launches New Bunker Trading and Brokering Firm
Industry veteran Ahmet Çağatay on Thursday announced the launch of a new Istanbul based bunker trading and brokerage firm, Bunkerist Trading and Brokering (Bunkerist).
"As we are based in Istanbul we can focus on the specific needs of our Turkish clients, but we offer world-wide bunker and lubricant trading and brokering, as well as after and pre-sale support services," Çağatay explained to Ship & Bunker.
"We have started with a team of two, but now we have launched will be working to add to our team within the next few months."
Çağatay has been involved in the bunker industry for some 20 years, and most recently was General Manager of Bunkers International Corp's Turkey office.
"In today’s market it is very important to be in a close cooperation with customers and to keep their demands in mind, so we will be researching new ways to serve companies in the most efficient manner," concluded Çağatay.
