BUNKER JOBS: Glander International Bunkering Seeks Bunker Trader in Valencia
Marine fuel trading and brokering firm Glander International Bunkering is seeking to hire a bunker trader in Valencia, Spain.
Experience in the oil industry is not a must, with sales experience and the motivation to develop within the industry mattering more, the company said in a job advertisement shared on LinkedIn by its Valencia-based managing director Alvaro Sierra Navarro.
The company lists the following requirements for the role:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, and proficient in at least one additional language.
- A social individual with motivation within sales.
- A commitment to reaching goals and contributing positively to the team.
Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, negotiating prices and closing deals, taking part in client and supplier visits, and day-to-day trading of bunker fuel.
The company says it is not in a hurry to fill the role, with the focus instead "to find the right candidate."
