Bunker Holding today announced significant changes to the leadership of its commercial organisation, putting new heads in charge of two of its three major trading brands and moving their current chiefs into group roles.

Thomas Lee, head of the Asia-Pacific region at KPI OceanConnect since 2023 and before that its head of global accounts in the region, becomes brand head of KPI OceanConnect, the company said in an emailed press release on Wednesday.

Dorthe Bendtsen, who has led KPI OceanConnect since November 2024, first as interim chief executive and permanently from May 2025, takes the new role of Group Sales Operations Director, reporting to group chief commercial officer Anders Grønborg and focusing on the structure and processes around the sales teams.

At Glander International Bunkering, Michael Cammarata, managing director of its Florida office and with the firm since 1988, becomes head of the brand.

Carsten Ladekjær, Glander International Bunkering's long-serving chief executive and a 30-year veteran of the group, moves to the Bunker Holding Academy, which the company describes as a new initiative and a significant investment in developing the industry's best talent and leaders.

Mikkel Søholm Vestergaard, who joined the group from Dan-Bunkering last November as director of sales and operational development, becomes group digital sales director, in charge of Bunker Holding's digital sales platforms.

There is no change at Dan-Bunkering, where Claus Bulch Klausen continues as head of the brand.

The company said the changes are designed to strengthen its commercial capabilities, empower the frontline, and build stronger brands, and follow a strong year financially with continued execution of its Fueling the Future strategy.

"Our customers operate in an increasingly complex and fast-moving market, and their needs continue to evolve," said group chief executive Peder Møller, who took over from Keld Demant last October.

"We want to make sure our commercial organisation is set up to respond with the right expertise, market knowledge and solutions, wherever our customers operate."

The reshuffle is the second under the group's current executive team, after the November 2024 changes that moved Grønborg from KPI OceanConnect to the group chief commercial officer role and Møller into executive management.

Bunker Holding, the world's largest marine fuel seller by volume, sold about 24 million mt of bunkers in 2025 and operates in 33 countries with 56 offices.
