RN-Bunker Initiates Low-Sulfur Bunker Sales
Rosneft subsidiary RN-Bunker LLC (RN-Bunker) has initiated sales of low-sulfur bunkers, PortNews IAA reports.
The fuel, which has a sulfur content not exceeding 0.1 percent, is produced by the Ufa group of refineries.
The first cargoes of the fuel are said to have been shipped to Kavkaz, Rostov-on-Don, Saint-Petersburg, and Kaliningrad for sale.
Rosneft is noted to also produce DMF I with sulfur content as low as 0.1 percent the Ryazan and Komsomolsk refineries.
RN-Bunkersold is reported to have sold approximately 200,000 tonnes of low-sulfur marine fuel in 2016.
Earlier this month, Ship & Bunker reported that Rosneft said it had initiated the transportation of oil products, including bunkers, by river for the 2017 navigation season.
