Global Bunker Prices Firm on Thursday

Global bunker prices firmed in many ports on Thursday with mostly small gains seen in major ports.

Singapore IFO380 gained $4.50 to $574.00, the highest price since last Thursday's $547.50 per metric tonne (pmt).

Hong Kong saw 380 cSt product prices continue to stay within $1.00 of 584.00 since last Friday, today gaining $1.50 to bring the price to $584.50.

Rotterdam IFO380 saw a fourth consecutive day of gains with the price moving up $1.50 to $547.50, while MGO moved up $2.50 to $820.50 pmt.

In Fujairah the price of IFO380 moved up $5.00 to $579.50 pmt, and MGO gained $7.00 bringing the price to $994.50.

Houston IFO380 gained for the second consecutive day this week moving up $1.00 to $551.50.

LA / Long Beach 380 cSt grade fuel dropped $3.00 to $579.50 pmt ending three days of consecutive gains.

Crude prices fell on Thursday with the WTI spot price dropping by $2.52 to close at $77.69 per barrel.
