Major Ports Firm on Monday

Global bunker prices were mixed as the week opens, but major ports Houston, Rotterdam, Singapore, and Fujairah all saw gains.

In Asia Singapore IFO380 saw a double digit gain climbing $19.00 to $607.50, as did Hong Kong with IFO380 moving up $15.50 to $620.00.

Taiwan's Kaohsiung moved in the opposite direction, with IFO380 falling by $11.50, bringing the price to $648.50.

Rotterdam and Gothenburg both saw gains in IFO380 with prices moving up $14.50 to $581.00 and $7.50 to $600.00 respectively.

Fujairah also saw 380 cSt product gain double digits with the price moving up $17.00 to $615.00.

In the U.S. Houston firmed with IFO380 gaining $4.00 to $582.50, MGO also firmed moving up $7.50 to $877.00.

New York saw small changes with IFO380 creeping up $1.00 to $592.00.

LA / Long Beach was a notable exception in the U.S. with IFO380 continuing to fall, and a double digit loss of $17.00 moved the price to $606.50.

Crude continued its downward trend with WTI trimming a further $1.40 and closing at $82.70.
