Rotterdam IFO380 Trending Up
Mid-week bunker prices in the EMEA region were mostly positive, with Rotterdam IFO380 reaching the highest price seen in over three months.
The grade rose $3.00 to $621.50 per metric tonne (pmt) at the port today, the highest price the grade has seen since $622.00 on October 17, 2012, for a month-on-month change of $35.00. Wednesday's premium for its low sulfur counterpart widened to $34.00 pmt, with low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) rising $3.50 to $655.50 pmt. MGO was up $8.00 to $968.50 pmt, the highest price since October 22, 2012.
Fujairah IFO380 rose $8.00 to $635.00 pmt, up $15.00 week-on-week, and an increase of $30.50 month-on-month. MGO moved up $0.50 to $997.00 pmt, $0.50 higher than last Wednesday, and down $9.00 since December 31, 2012.
Istanbul IFO380 climbed $3.00 to $657.00 pmt, up $3.50 week-on-week, and $38.00 higher than this time last month. MGO in the port moved up $7.50 to $1030.50 pmt, the highest price since October 26, 2012, and a month-on-month gain of $37.00.
Piraeus IFO380 climbed $3.00 to $642.50 pmt, $7.50 higher than last Wednesday, and up $40.00 since December 31, 2012. LS380 climbed $2.00 to $713.00 making the premium for the low sulfur grade $70.50 pmt. MGO in Piraeus climbed $8.50 to $1000.50 pmt, the highest price since October 23, 2012.
