New Staff Member at German Bunker Supplier
Germany's United Fuel Services GmbH & Co. KG (UFS) has added Marcus Jasca to its team of bunker buyers/brokers effective immediately, the company has told Ship & Bunker.
Managing Director, Henning Pommer, said the appointment was in direct response to the increased number of vessels which are operated by its sister companies, and to assist in handling the ever increasing challenges of the bunker market.
Jasca has a background in product-tankers, having worked for a tanker owner based in Germany.
UFS is part of the Briese Group of companies, the Hartmann AG and Schoeller Holdings of Cyprus, and says it is responsible for the marine fuel procurement for those companies' affiliated shipping divisions representing about 650 ships trading worldwide.
