A German-owned feeder containership has been arrested in Singapore, reports Tradewinds.

The ship, owned by W. Bockstiegel Reederei GmbH & Co. KG and flagged in Antigua and Barbuda, was arrested early Saturday by Singapore's admiralty sheriff.

Authorities reportedly made the arrest on the advice of local law firm HA & Chung Partnership, though the reasons are as of yet unknown.

The ship is currently moored off the Southwestern coast of Singapore.

It is the seventh vessel arrested in Singapore waters since the beginning of October.

A Capesize bulker owned by India's Essar Group was also arrested earlier this month.
