Wednesday Bunker Prices Firm in Americas and Europe

Wednesday bunker prices firmed in many ports throughout Europe and the Americas, while key ports in Asia were still mostly without direction.

Singapore IFO380 was steady at $569.50, and MGO fell by $2.50 bringing the price to $805.00 per metric tonne (pmt).

Hong Kong 380 cSt product lost $2.00 falling to $583.00, a new low for the month.

In Rotterdam the price of IFO380 moved up for the third consecutive day this week, gaining $0.50 to $546.00, while MGO also moved up gaining $3.00 to $818.00 pmt.

Fujairah IFO380 dropped $3.00 to $574.50, and MGO lost $4.00 bringing the price down to $987.50 pmt.

Houston 380 cSt grade fuel gained on yesterday's $547.00, the lowest price of the month, moving upĀ $3.50 to $550.50 pmt.

LA / Long Beach saw all grades move up for the third consecutive day this week, with IFO380 gaining $9.50 and moving the price to $582.50.

Wednesday saw crude firming, with the WTI spot price gaining $0.85 and closing at $80.21 per barrel.
