Gulf Petrochem Awarded Singapore's Global Trader Program Certificate
Gulf Petrochem Pte. Ltd., (Gulf Petrochem) the Singaporean arm of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Gulf Petrochem Group, has received the Global Trader Program (GTP) certificate during Singapore’s Global Trader Awards (GTA) 2012 function, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Singapore.
Sanjeev Sisaudia, Gulf Petrochem Group's CEO, said: “This is certainly a prestigious recognition, which underlines the contribution of Gulf Petrochem Pte. Ltd. Singapore in firmly establishing our brand equity across Asia. We congratulate our entire Singapore team for this remarkable achievement.”
Singapore launched the Global Trader Programme (GTP) in June 2001 with a vision to transform international trading activities and the initiative encourages global trading companies to choose Singapore as their regional/global base of operations.
Companies who apply to be a part of the Global Trader Programme must satisfy certain basic criteria and conform to a list of qualifying products and commodities.
