FUJCON 2013 Impresses With Array of Specialist Industry Knowledge

The Eighth International Fujairah Bunkering & Fuel Oil Forum, continues to draw the best of the global bunkering and marine industries, gathering over 200 delegates from 20 countries, who will converge in Fujairah to examine and debate, key developments in the bunker and fuel oil business and the impact of bunkering developments globally.

Held under the auspices of the Government of Fujairah with the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohamed Al Sharqi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, FUJCON 2013 will be held from 25-27 March 2013 at the Al Diar Siji Hotel, Fujairah, UAE.

Organised by The Conference Connection Inc, the Forum has achieved wide international recognition with the support of the International Bunker Industry Association, BIMCO, The Nautical Institute, UAE Branch and the UAE Shipping Association, drawing on its international reputation as one of the world's leading bunkering events & the premier bunkering event of the Middle East.

The FUJCON 2013 agenda reinforces Fujairah's position as a major player in the global market, charts important advancements in its oil storage, bunkering and pipeline developments, and provides up-to-date analysis on issues affecting the bunkering & fuel oil business including critical environmental and operational developments, recent amendments to marine fuel regulations, fuel quality management, and emission control considerations.

A special session on LNG will look at the potential of LNG as a viable marine fuel and the outlook for LNG bunker and LNG fuelled newbuild demand, as the industry grapples with new maritime regulations limiting sulphur content of marine fuels, in Emission Control Areas.
