Bunker Prices End Week Making Gains
The week ended with bunker prices moving up, and key indicator ports Singapore, Rotterdam, Fujairah, and Houston all saw week-on-week gains of between $0.50 and $6.50 pmt.
Singapore IFO380 gained $9.00 to $657.50 per metric tonne (pmt) making a week-on-week gain of $1.50, and MGO moved up $11.00 to $964.00 pmt.
Hong Kong saw IFO380 rise $5.00 to $670.00 pmt, an increase of $1.00 on last Friday's price, while MGO was up $7.50 to $982.50 pmt.
Rotterdam IFO380 climbed $7.50 to $636.50 for a week-on-week gain of $4.50, 1.00% maximum sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) gained $8.50 to $689.00, and MGO rose $11.00 to $971.00 pmt.
Fujairah 380 cSt product was up $12.50 to $661.00, $6.50 higher than last week's price, while MGO added $5.00 to bring the price to $1039.50 pmt.
Houston IFO380 moved up $4.00 to $644.50 pmt making a week-on-week gain of $0.50, LS380 was also up by $4.00 bringing the price to $745.50 pmt, and MGO gained $9.00 to $1038.00 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 climbed for a third consecutive day gaining $6.50 to $694.50 pmt, a $17.00 increase on last Friday's price, while LS380 moved down $7.00 to $828.00 pmt making the premium for the low sulfur product $133.50 pmt.
The WTI spot price ended the week moving up $0.34 to close at $92.19 per barrel.
