GAC Bunker Fuels Appoints New Business Development Manager
GAC Bunker Fuels Ltd (GAC) today announced in an emailed press release the appointment of Ashan Silva as its new Business Development Manager for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Indian Subcontinent.
GAC said Silva, who will be based in Dubai, brings a wealth of shipping experience to his new role having worked at sea for eleven years before coming ashore to take on management roles, most recently as General Manager Operations for GAC in Sri Lanka.
Nicholas Browne, Global Director of GAC Bunker Fuels, said: “GAC prides itself on its commitment to operational excellence, and Ashan’s understanding of the region and full spectrum of customer requirements for any port call will be invaluable.

Dubai, UAE, headquartered GAC says it covers all regions and time zones throughout its offices in the USA, UK, Norway, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.
Earlier this year the company opened its office in Norway and also received an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
