Wednesday Bunker Prices Firm Across Global Markets
Global bunker prices were firm Wednesday with mostly small gains being seen in the major ports.
In Asia, Singapore had gains across grades with IFO380 moving up $5.00 to $590.00, Busan also saw small gains in IFO380 moving up $2.50 to $622.50 and MDO lost $1.50 moving the price down to $913.50 per metric tonne (pmt).
In Europe Rotterdam saw gains across the board for the second day in a row with IFO380 moving up $8.50 to $573.00 and MGO once again seeing a double digit gain, moving up $11.00 to $849.50 pmt.
Gothenburg also saw some gains with 380 cSt product moving up a moderate $7.50 to $592.50 pmt.
Houston's IFO380 was once again up albeit only by $0.50 today, moving the price to $580.00, while MGO firmed reversing yesterdays loss to move up $12.50 to $870.00.
New York saw a similar changes with IF380 moving up $2.50 to $585.50 and MGO gaining $13.50 to $891.00.
On the U.S. West Coast LA / Long Beach saw 380 cSt losing $1.50 moving down to $639.50 pmt while MDO saw another day of small gains moving up $2.50 to $1027.50.
Crude saw a third consecutive day of gains with WTI moving up $0.73 and closing at $85.02 per barrel.
