A Glenn Defense Marine Asia Pte (GDMA) vessel has been arrested in Singapore, according to the website of the Singapore Supreme Court.

Arresting solicitor Oon & Bazul LLP took custody of the tugĀ Glenn Defender last Tuesday at 11:14 p.m.

The vessel is a 16.9 metre-long steel tug with a berth of 5.8 metres, according to GDMA's website.

A tanker belonging to the troubled contractor, the Glenn Bataan, was arrested the previous week and is still on the court's list of arrested vessels along with another of the company's tugs, the Glenn Gladiator, which was arrested in September.

Bunker supplier Transocean Oil Pte Ltd. has sought an order for the sale of the Glenn Gladiator to pay off debts owned by GDMA.

GDMA is at the centre of a growing fraud and bribery scandal involving the U.S. Navy, in which several naval officers and company officials have been arrested.
