Danish Bunker Firm Expands in Cambodia

Danish bunker supplier Go4 Bunker Denmark has said it is to expand its bunker business into Cambodia with an official launch of Go4 Bunker (Cambodia) Co., Ltd (Go4BC) at the Hotel Cambodiana on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

Go4 Bunker Denmark said it will partner with Cambodian companies to develop not only the Cambodian offshore bunker business, but also related business in connection with the Cambodian National Petroleum Authorities (CNPA) offshore exploration and local service.

"Go4BC will create a new industry for Cambodia in Offshore / Marine Fuel Oil Supply and will create countless jobs for Cambodians ranging from entry level to senior management positions within the sector," it said.

The firm said it would leverage its experience to help Cambodia "to be positioned on the world map."

"After 12 years developing the Go4 Concept in the Global Bunker Industry and four years developing in the Gulf of Thailand (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Singapore), we are pleased to introduce the Go4 Bunker concept in the Cambodia Offshore Economical Zone / Gulf of Thailand," said Tommy Christensen, CEO of Go4 Bunker (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.

"Go4BC will leverage the Danish Go4 Bunker technology and experience to create an internationally known and reputed bunkering facility in Cambodia.  This will mean many new jobs and new opportunities for Cambodians," he added.

Go4 Bunkering says its concept focuses on shortening the bunker supply chain and ensuring delivering of the quality and quantity of fuel paid for by customers.
