Mixed Bunker Prices for EMEA Region on Tuesday

Bunker prices across the EMEA region were mixed today, according to Ship & Bunker data, with IFO380 falling in some key ports including Rotterdam, Fujairah, Istanbul, and Piraeus.

Rotterdam IFO380 fell $1.00 to $615.50 per metric tonne (pmt), up $2.50 week-on-week, and $33.50 higher than December 24, 2012. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) dropped $3.00 to $641.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $26.00 pmt. MGO was up $5.00 to $950.50 pmt, up $4.50 week-on-week.

Fujairah IFO380 fell $3.00 to $623.50 pmt, $3.50 higher than last Tuesday, and an increase of $19.00 month-on-month. MGO in the port moved down for the first time since January 15, 2013 slipping $4.00 to $999.00 pmt, down $4.50 week-on-week.

Istanbul IFO380 dropped $1.00 to $655.50 pmt, up $4.00 week-on-week, and a $36.00 increase since December 24, 2012. MGO in Istanbul rose $5.50 to $1020.00 pmt, $8.50 higher than last Tuesday, and up $28.50 month-on-month.

Piraeus IFO380 moved down $4.00 to $639.00 pmt, $3.00 higher than last Tuesday, and up $37.00 compared to this time last month. LS380 was up $7.50 to $713.00 making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $74.00 pmt. MGO moved up $6.00 to $990.50 pmt, a $6.00 increase week-on-week.
