Bunker Prices Gain as Week Ends
After a week of uncertain movements, bunker prices were generally up on Friday.
Singapore IFO380 and MGO were up for a second consecutive day, IFO380 gaining $5.50 to $598.50 making it $6.00 lower than last Friday's 604.50, and MGO gained $7.00 to $870.00 per metric tonne (pmt) up $3.50 from this time last week.
Hong Kong saw IFO380 move up for a third consecutive day gaining $6.50 to $612.00, while MDO was up $2.00 to $876.00.
Rotterdam 380 cSt product gained $8.50 moving the price to $581.00 pmt, $5.50 lower than last Friday's $586.50, and MGO moved up $7.50 to $869.00.
Fujairah IFO380 gained $10.00 to $609.50 pmt, $1.00 higher than last Friday's $608.50, while MGO fell $4.00 to $990.00.
Houston IFO380 ended the week $2.00 lower than the previous Friday's $586.00, up $5.50 to $584.00, while MGO was up $7.50 to $918.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach saw IFO380 move down $3.50 to $613.50 and ending the week $16.50 higher than last Friday's $597.00.
The Friday WTI spot price was up $1.02 to close at $87.10 per barrel.
