Dan Bunkering Expands into the Americas
In an effort to provide better service to customers in North and South America, Danish-owned Dan-Bunkering Ltd is set to open a new office in Houston, Texas, USA by mid 2012.
The American office will increase the company's global presence by joining other office locations such as Denmark, China, Russia, Singapore, and Monaco.
Long-time Dan-Bunkering employee Hans Lind Dollerup has been named Managing Director and will head the new office.
According to Dan-Bunkering, Lind Dollerup has built a thorough knowledge of the bunker business since joining the company in 2002.
He has also been stationed at the Dan-Bunkering Monaco office since its opening in 2011, providing him with the necessary experience for starting a new office.
“We are convinced that we will be able to build a strong and successful team with Hans at the helm, and we expect to begin new recruitments in the near future, to get a mix of local and international traders at the newest office in the Dan-Bunkering group,” said CEO/Executive Vice president Henrik Zederkof.
