Singapore Ship Arrest Activity Falls for a 3rd Consecutive Year [GRAPH]

The number of ships arrested in Singapore has fallen for the third consecutive year, official data provided to Ship & Bunker by the Supreme Court of Singapore shows.

There were a total of 56 vessels arrested in the maritime and bunkering hub during 2015, down from 60 in 2014 and 85 in 2013.

The number is less than half of the 114 arrested in 2012.

2015 saw 70 warrants for arrest filed, a slight increase on the 67 filed last year.
