The Bomin Group today has announced it has expanded its physical operations in Singapore, and since the beginning of October 2016 has deployed four modern, double-hulled barges.

The vessels are all fitted with Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) approved mass flow meters (MFMs), and are noted to be able to provide a range of products.

"While Bomin has been an MPA (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore) approved supplier since 1988, the development of its physical infrastructure in the region will enable the company to deliver greater control of the end-to-end bunkering process, better integrating supply from the terminal to the customer jointly with its sister company, Matrix Marine Fuels Pte. Ltd," said Bomin.

Bomin Bunker Oil Pte Ltd ranked 28th, 25th on MPAs list of bunker suppliers by volume for 2014 and 2015 respectively.

"The investment in developing our physical operations in Singapore comes at an important time for Bomin, as the bunkering sector is experiencing significant change. It is vital for us that we ensure our business is structured to seize the opportunities of a changing market, and to help our customers meet the new challenges that they face in relation to fuel supply," said Thomas Roller, Managing Director of Bomin Group.

"This means ensuring that all our operations, resources and infrastructure are geared towards delivering long-term and sustainable growth. Our investment in Singapore is an example of this."
