KPI Bridge Oil today said in an emailed press release it has appointed Mark Emmett as Managing Director of its Singapore operations.

The global bunker and lubricants broker and trader said Emmett has more than 30 years experience in the Bunker and Shipping industries, of which the last 13 years have been with KPI Bridge Oil in London.

"Mark is one of our most experienced Senior Traders and Managers who has a huge amount of technical, commercial and legal knowledge," said Carsten Ladekjaer, KPI Bridge Oil Group CEO.

"With his proven track record and in-depth understanding of the bunker industry and our group, Mark is going to be a valuable addition to our already successful team in Singapore."

Commenting on his new role at KPI Bridge Oil Singapore, Emmett said: "It is a privilege to be joining the Singapore office as its new Managing Director.

"I am very excited to be heading up this great team and I am very much looking forward to building upon the successes of the company in the recent years and in leading the future expansion of our business in Asia."

Emmett's appointment is the third senior change at KPI Bridge Oil this year, following the June promotion of James Enston to managing director of its London office, and Ladekjaer's appointment as Group CEO in August.
