Monjasa Appoints Carsten Vanting as Head of Credit

Monjasa Group (Monjasa) has appointed Carsten Vanting as Head of Credit effective as of October 2015, the bunker supplier has told Ship & Bunker.
Vanting comes from the bunker industry as the former Group Credit Director of the O.W. Bunker Group, where he served from June 2009 until November 2014, and before that as an underwriter with Atradius insurance company.
Earlier this year Kenneth Henriks, Group Chief Financial Officer at Monjasa, said the company had reached an important milestone having almost doubled its existing credit facilities, a development he said was also a "vote of confidence in the bunkering industry" as a whole.
