Adani Bunkering to Expand its Footprints in South Asia

Adani Bunkering, a fully-owned entity managed by Adani Group, plans to expand its bunkering footprints by supplying marine fuels at all the major ports of India, Middle East and other South Asian countries.

Adani Enterprises recently bought Glencore's 49 per cent stake in bunkering business joint venture with plans to expand aggressively as a leading bunker supplier along Indian ports & abroad and renamed the entity as Adani Bunkering, its 100% subsidiary.

Speaking on the development Mr. Vinay Prakash, Director of Adani Bunkering said "Leveraging the synergy with Adani owned ports and with the support of State owned oil companies, we plan to develop and grow our bunkering business exponentially throughout India. Our focus is also on quality of fuel and improved supply chain for faster bunker delivery."

At present Adani Bunkering is physical bunker supplier in India's Gujarat Ports and Goa Port. Infrastructure for bunkering operations is based in Mundra port and bunker supply is carried out by India's biggest Barges. Bunker Supplies at other Indian Ports are made in association with State Owned Oil Companies. In the near future, Adani Bunkering plans to expand its physical bunkering operations to Hazira and Dahej ports of Gujarat and is also evaluating other ports for physical presence.
