Bunker trading company Integr8 Fuels says it has expanded its operations in Hamburg with a new trading team that will consist of four former OW Bunker staff based in the city.

Daniel Grünwald and Karl-Heinz Selmerto becoming Senior Bunker Traders, while Simon Kelly and Jose Antonio Monroy Ramirez will become Bunker Traders.

"The developments at Hamburg are part of Integr8's expansion plans due to the vacuum left by the OW Bunker collapse," Tushar Gole, managing director of Integr8.

The company noted that there had been several "good commercial people" looking for work following the failed fuel supplier's bankruptcy announcement early last month.

"We have interviewed a large number of people in recent weeks, and the challenge for us has been to identify those individuals that will fit with our company culture and conservative expansion plans in the right locations," Gole said.

The new Hamburg staff are to begin work early December.

Integr8 has hired a number of former OW staff in recent weeks, having announced last month that it had hired two employees in Singapore and two in Dubai
