Crude Down as inventories Hit at Least an 80-year High

As the rest of the northeast US dug out of the latest winter snowstorm crude continued to dig deeper into benchmark prices.

The newest shiver sent through the market was that of at least an 80-year high in crude inventories, sending prices to their lowest point in six years.

When the US is producing at its highest recorded rate (9.2 million barrels/day) and OPEC maintains its stance on production levels their remains too much downward pressure on any slightly supportive news for oil.

However, this is sure to keep bunker buyers warm at night.
