Daily Bunker Price Report, Tuesday April 30, 2013
April ended with mostly small mixed bunker price movements on Tuesday, as well as a number of ports seeing prices remain unchanged today, while Ship & Bunker data also showed the majority of bunker prices in the world's key ports all fell over the course of the month.
During the month some ports saw prices fall to not only to their lowest level of the year so far, but in a number of cases their lowest since July last year.
Singapore IFO380 was down $1.00 to $615.00 per metric tonne (pmt), for a change of $-20.00 over the month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) edged down $0.50 to $650.00 making it a fall of $46.00 for the month. MGO was steady at $858.50 pmt, a change of $-48.50 in April.
Rotterdam IFO380 was down $1.00 to $586.50 pmt, a change of $-23.00 for the month, while LS380 was down $2.50 to $598.50 for a change of $-29.00 in April. MGO fell $3.50 to $835.50 pmt, down $64.00 over the month.
Fujairah IFO380 climbed $2.00 to $622.00 pmt, down $21.00 in April, and MGO moved up $4.50 to $1011.50 pmt, for a gain of $14.50 over the month.
Houston IFO380 was steady at $589.50 pmt falling $32.50 since the start of the month, while LS380 was down $9.00 to $656.00 for a change of $-36.00 in April. A gain of $0.50 to $965.00 pmt for MGO put it $34.50 lower than on April 1, 2013.
