New Singapore Office for Global Risk Management

Bunker hedging solutions provider Global Risk Management, part of the United Shipping & Trading Company, has announced that effective July 1, 2014 it has moved to new office premises in Singapore.

"The central location - Singapore being the main transport hub in the area - makes our presence in the area of vital importance," said Global Risk Management's Managing Director Hans Erik Christensen.

The Singapore Branch was established 5 years ago and is headed by Sales Director, Head of Asia Pacific Adam Hashidy.

"Since the start-up the office has experienced steady growth and in the last few years has added an increasing number of clients in Singapore and around Asia wishing to lock in their fuel price exposure," the company said in its news release.

In May Nicholas Foo joined the company in Singapore as Oil Risk Manager Trainee.
