OilChart UK Expands North West Europe Physical Bunker Supply Locations
OilChart UK has expanded its physical supply locations in North West Europe, and from July 1, 2016 will begin to offer bunkers to its clients at Tongue anchorage, UK, OilChart UK Managing Director Owen Webber has told Ship & Bunker.
"The addition of the Tongue anchorage location to our North West Europe supply hubs is a logical step in our growth. The anchorage can support several different sets of clients whether they are North or South bound vessels weather bound or vessels leaving the Thames requiring repositioning bunkers," said Webber.
"The location also allows us to offer a synergy with our sister company OilChart International offering our clients the optionality to receive bunkers inside ARA or tongue dependent on their orders. Tongue anchorage being only approx 6 hours sailing from Flushing and within Port Limits."
A full range of products will be offered including HSFO, MGO, MGO DMA, and ULSFO, and Webber says supplies will be made in conjunction with and close coordination of the Port of London.
"The anchorage will be covered by OilChart UK’s long term time charter fleet, offering modern tonnage and experienced bunker crew," he added.
"Clients do not require an agent or a pilot to enter tongue anchorage, only to complete a set of Calling Instructions min 24 hours before arrival."
