Valhalla Marine Sarl has announced that, as of today, the company will be rebranded to Glander International Bunkering (Geneva) Sàrl (GIB Geneva).

The move is said to support the development of the Glander International Bunkering (GIB) group, which acquired the company in November 2014.

"We have been extremely pleased with the results of the Geneva acquisition and the name change will bring on board a further upsurge of opportunities for both parties," Christoffer Berg Lassen, Managing Director and CEO of GIB.

"The rebrand will further improve client services, as a result of increased access to the European markets and a broader mix of knowledge, experience and skill sets under the one brand."

The rebranding is said to mark the completion of a successful transition period in which the Geneva-based company has come together with a GIB to further streamline its client services, providing local access at a global scale for GIB.

"With a stronger corporate identity comes increased access to business professionals and a distinguished platform which leads to stronger purchasing power,"said GIB Geneva.

Last week, GIB announced that it has merged with Scandinavian Bunkering AS (Scandinavian Bunkering), which will now be re-named to Glander International Bunkering (Norway) AS as a result.
